Romeo and Juliet Critical Review

This play was and still is the legacy of Shakespeare, along with his other great plays. His message that he projected through great poetic forms, was how powerful true love is. The way he shifted between Tragedy and comedy was a great trait about the poem. It has a powerful plot line from beginning till the end. There were many delicious quotes that are powerful and can apply to the universal theme in Romeo and Juliet.
As I read through the play I realized that the message relaying in this play was true love like(Juliet, Act II, scene ii )O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet. It means they’ll give up their riches and families to be with one-another. That to me shows that the way he wrote this play actually makes it seem like its really passionate. At some parts th love stood rather corney like:(Come, gentle night, — come, loving black brow'd night,Give me my Romeo; and when he shall die,Take him and cut him out in little stars,And he will make the face of Heaven so fineThat all the world will be in love with night,And pay no worship to the garish sun.)
(Juliet, Act III, scene ii) But when its put on a sea-saw theis play balance at a 4stars out of 5*. it was intense with action ,thrilling comedy , and tradgey alway come with love thhe undergowing theme of this play
